Meeting days in Vilnius, Lithuania.
on the 16–17 September 2025 we are holding the physical meeting of the two Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking projects #Academics4Rail & #PhDsEURail,coordinated by Armando Carrillo Zanuy from Eurnex. Gintautas Bureika kindly hosted by VILNIUS TECH – Vilnius Gediminas Technical University.
🔹 The agenda brings together partners, researchers, and PhD students to exchange knowledge and showcase progress on key topics shaping the future of rail.
Highlights include project overviews, PhD research blocks on social, digital and operational/technical aspects, and discussions on transversal themes such as gender, inclusion, education and skills. The program also features technical sessions and a visit to Lithuanian Railways to connect research with practice.
